Anwar Ibrahim : The Clown, The Joker & The Bullshits!

It was like music to our ears when Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that he would be retiring if Pakatan Rakyat fails to make it to Putrajaya in the general election. Our only regret is that he is not retiring immediately. We are not denying his right to contest or to dream of becoming PM. That is his right in a democracy.

What we cannot stomach is the way he has turned the country upside down in the quest to fulfill his impossible dream. Since the day he was sacked in 1998, he has made a circus of the political process from street riots to accusing people of murder. To accuse Rosmah, for example, of being at the scene of that Mongolian woman’s murder was too much. Come on lah, she would rather be shopping at the Pavilion.

Then when people accused him of poking his handsome assistant and bonking the China Doll, what did he say? Not my DNA, not my tummy, not my nose, not my everything.

But knowing Anwar, what you see is not what you get. We have our suspicions about his so called retirement plans. Anwar realises that his credibility and appeal has diminished. It is not like what it was when he walked out of jail in 2005.

His supporters then made a hue and cry about the toy boy Saiful Bukhary case and also the sex video. Gutter politics they cried in Facebook, Twitter and at every ceramah. But deep in their heart, they have doubts.

People can see by now that this man is only good at talking and accusing. He has no idea about the economy. If he knows economics, do you think Selangor of which he is the Economic Advisor would be in bad state of affairs?

Water shortage, bailing out developers, Talam, Unisel bankrupt, illegal sand mining and corruption creeping into the system. Luckily they paid Anwar only RM1 a month. But they wasted RM15,000 a month on Rafizi Ramli who was not interested in sorting out Selangor’s economy. He was more interested in running after cows and Shahrizat.

Anwar can read the writing on the wall. The voters are abandoning him and his party. Better to talk about retirement now so that he will not lose too much face when he loses. Putrajaya will be the impossible dream.

Another possible reason is that Anwar may be playing the pity-me/sympathy card. By saying he wants to retire, voters may suddenly feel kesian for him and tell themselves, never mind la, give him one last chance.

Very pathetic, if you ask us. This man who once asked people to vote for him because he can be a better PM than Tun Mahathir is now asking people to pity him and give him sympathy vote.

The only PM he can be better than is Pak Lah. We are appealing to voters not be fooled by this con man again. Remember how he claimed he was being poisoned by arsenic, then by HIV. But he is still alive.

We should vote him into retirement by giving our vote to Najib Razak.

Dear, dear Datuk Seri Anwar, don’t be sad or depressed. Retiring from politics is not the end of the world.
