DAP vs BERSIH....

Unsatisfied with the fact that BERSIH 3.0 failed, Pakatan Rakyat once again wants to form another rally on the eve of Merdeka.

This next rally is known as ‘Janji Demokrasi’ is said to be organized by 47 NGOs who described themselves as the Janji Coalition. However, rakyat is well aware that the main organization behind them is Pakatan Rakyat.

Their main goal is none other than trying to create chaos and to stop rakyat from celebrating the Independence. Besides that, it is also held to the Independence theme which scares PR, ’55 Tahun Janji DiTepati’.

It seems that the organizing committee is no longer led by Ambiga, who admitted defeat as she suffers trouble of even getting in or out from her own house as business owners rallied in front of her gate due to their loss during BERSIH 3.0.

But, this time, the rally will be led by Marina Chin Abdullah and Hishamudin Rais. As expected, both of them also promised that the rally would go peacefully.

But, rakyat is not stupid. They can never forget the same promised made during BERSIH 3.0 but what really happened were chaos, destruction and injuries.

They are saying that Janji Demokrasi is just like any other Independence day celebration, but the only difference is that they would be in yellow to show their support to push the government to promise towards a democratic governance with the principals of the Constitution, law and supporting the rights to free speech, abolishing bad Acts and freedom of media and fair election.

The question here is, why should we believe people like Hishamudin Rais and Marina Chin who are the tools for PR when PR is always known as a coalition that never fulfil their promises? If not, why are they scared of this year’s Independence Day theme?

Marina Chin was previously involved in BERSIH 2.0 where all of the participants did not listen to orders given by the police to leave. She is also the person who fights for LGBT rights. Hishamudin Rais in the other hand is known as a rebel. There is no point talking about him.

Even if we can trust Marina that everything would go peacefully, we would want to know what kind of democracy she is fighting for? Becoming a tool for PR, she does not have the rights so talk about democracy.

Parties within PR have their own chronic issues regarding democracy and free speech. PKR’s election for example is filled with lies, manipulation, fights and even clear cronyism.

DAP in the other hand is led by the Secretary General who is rude, arrogant, iron fist, chauvinist and racist. And just like PKR, the cronyism, in DAP is too obvious to be denied by anyone.

Because of the fact that there are no democracy in PKR and DAP, we can see that each year one by one of its leaders often choose to go INDEPENDENT and BN friendly.

PAS is no different as they are gutsy enough to put religion in front of politic.

All these three parties are also famous for boycotting the media whenever they are criticized or whenever they fell in their own trap.

Are these the parties which Marina wants to fight for?

If PR is wise, they should realize that as the election comes closer, they should focus more on fulfilling their promises at the states which they are ruling instead of rallying and making new promises.

They should have learnt from their mistakes back in BERSIH 3.0 where everyone began to get annoyed and wonder when would be the end for PR.

We believe that after Janji Demokrasi, Marina’s image will be tarnished just like Ambiga as she simply ruined Merdeka.

Theresa Kok, Kurma Box & Price of Malays Vote?

She (Theresa) calls and named her self as the 'Sassy MP' in her blogs. I was wondering the reason behind the term used by her. Since, the dictionary states 'Sassy' as 'Disrespectful', I was continued to think what she is really trying to tell the rakyats by the usage of such term regards to herself.

The answer for my questions came out one day when i saw her post in her blog:

"Yesterday, the DAP Seputeh constituency members and I have visited the Ramadhan Bazaar at Sri Petaling (in front of SMK Sri Petaling 2).

This time we have prepared some dates or “buah kurma” in small container to be distributed out to the Malays friends as well as other shoppers at the Ramadhan Bazaar as a way to channel our care and blessing to them.

I hereby wish them once again have a meaningful ramadhan during this fasting period."

A Box of Kurma for you Mak Cik, as Exchange for your Vote in upcoming elections..?

I was thinking WHY?

Why she only started to recall or remember the existence of Malays only during the Raya Celebrations?

What changes she brought so far for the Malays?

How far the Malays benefited from her doings in her constituency?

What are the economical, social and religious changes she brought for them?

And last but not least....

Is the box of Kurma's is just a effort to temproraly 'cools down' the thoughts of the Malays and rakyats?

OR

Its a new Marketing Strategy of her for next GE-13's VOTE BUYING?

PAS & PKR is DAP's TOYS???

DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, along with other party comrades, have never failed to drum up hatred against Gerakan, MCA and the MIC, by constantly telling non-Malays that the parties had sold them out by being subservient to Umno.

Lim in particular has mastered the art of whipping up such racist sentiments amongst the Chinese by harping on issues which had angered the electorate in the run up to the 2008 general election campaign in Penang.

However, in just four years of ruling Penang, the DAP has shown its true colours and is fast turning into the exact monster it has all this while accused Umno of being.

While the track record of an equal partnership between Gerakan, MCA, MIC and Umno in the Barisan Nasional (BN) is there for all to see, the alliance between DAP, PKR and Pas is fast turning out to be nothing but a big joke.

The Chinese dominated party has emerged as the `big brother` in Pakatan while PKR and Pas leaders are fast realising how they are being bullied by the DAP.

Recent developments concerning core issues like the implementation of hudud if Pakatan gains federal power is but one example of how the DAP has tried to portray itself as the dominant party in the alliance.

In other words PKR and Pas have become to the DAP what Gerakan and MCA have been accused of being to Umno.

Just recently two state PKR leaders lent their voices to a growing chorus of people condemning Lim’s administration for bulldozing massive development projects with little or no consultation with local communities.

Penang PKR vice-chairman Datuk Abdul Halim Hussein and Balik Pulau MP Yusmadi Yusof hit out at the DAP-led state government for unanimously converting whatever was left of agriculture land into upmarket housing projects.

While Yusmadi has been complaining of being left in the dark about what was going on in his constituency since 2009, Abdul Halim – who is also the state legislative assembly speaker, has only now woken up to what is going on.

However, the real evidence of the actual discord going on between the DAP and PKR has only now emerged following leaked minutes of a Penang PKR strategic meeting which was held just before Hari Raya Aidil Fitri on Sunday.

The minutes, clearly show what PKR leaders like Penang deputy chief minister I Datuk Dr Mansor Othman actually think of Lim and the DAP itself.

In excerpts of the minutes, Mansor is recorded as calling his boss as not only a cocky and arrogant leader but also a person who has successfuly endeared himself as a “Tokong” (God) to the Chinese.

“He (Guan Eng) is very arrogant, I tell you…cocky and arrogant. It is not easy. Now more arrogant.”

“They ( the DAP) are sure of winning 19 (seats) and they want more. Because with two more (seats) they can form their own government and they can take from us (PKR reps) to be on their side and (then) abandon us (PKR),” he warned.

The latest revelation of Mansor’s thoughts about Lim is sure to ignite his boss’ fury and it remains to be seen how the Pakatan’s supreme leader Anwar Ibrahim reacts to the storm that is set to follow.

Over on Pas’ side, the so-called Islamic party’s leaders have also been accused of swaying from their original struggles just to appease the DAP.

A group of grassroot members from various Pas divisions in Penang recently gathered to voice their frustrations of how their party had become so engrossed in its relationship with the DAP that it was willing to sideline its principles.

Mansor’s opening remarks at the PKR meeting perhaps sum it up best when he said that “DAP adalah dictator dalam pentadbiran negeri Pulau Pinang.”

It is time PKR and Pas leaders explained just who is being subservient to whom now.

The 'ARROGANT' Lim Guan Eng..

State PKR chief Mansor Othman is upset that minutes of the party's Penang strategic meeting on preparations for the 13th general election, where he described Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng as arrogant, have been leaked.

Mansor, who is deputy chief minister I, said he was aware of the leak and expressed his disappointment that it has been published verbatim in an obscure blog.

However, Mansor, who is Penanti assemblyperson, said the contents - detailing questions raised on the coming polls and his responses to them - were "genuine concerns".

"Give me a few days, I am investigating the matter. The contents of the posting on the blog are based on genuine concerns but what I cannot accept is the leakage," he told Malaysiakini during the recent Hari Raya open house in Guar Perahu.

In the blog titled 'Gelagat Anwar', the June 16, 18 and 19 postings listed the attendees and detailed the discussions on seat allocations and problems faced by PKR in Penang.

A check revealed that one of those in the list of attendees - Kebun Bunga assemblyperson Jason Ong Khan Lee - was absent from the meeting.

Those present, other than Mansor, included state PKR deputy chief Law Choo Kiang; Bukit Bendera division deputy chief Felix Ooi; Bayan Baru deputy chief Tan Seng Keat; 2004 candidate for Bayan Baru Raymond Ong; Tanjung Youth chief Ng Chek Siang; Batu Uban chief Cheah Peng Guan and the DCM's assistant John Ooi, who is also a PKR member in Bayan Baru.

Palanivel: NO WOMEN Candidate on GE-13!

MIC president G Palanivel is expected to meet Prime Minister and Barisan Nasional chief Najib Tun Razak next Tuesday to finalise the party’s candidates list for the coming general election.

Apart from some minor changes to the list, the most shocking was that the largest Indian-based party in the country would not field any women candidates.

Sources revealed that although Palanivel had submitted a list of potential candidates, the meeting on Aug 28 would “finalise everything including two seat swaps”.

The source said that Palanivel had a meeting with the party’s women’s wing towards the end of July.

“And the outcome of the meeting shocked the wing as the president decided not to field any women candidates for the general election,” he added.

The source also claimed that Palanivel was peeved when only six representatives from the women’s wing turned up for the meeting.

In the last general election, MIC fielded four women, one for a parliamentary seat and the rest for state assembly seats.

Of the four, only T Murukasvary managed to retain the Tenggaroh state seat in Johor defeating PAS member Shahar Abdullah with a large majority of 8,233 votes.

Wanita MIC chief Komala Krishnamoorthy was defeated in the Kapar parliamentary seat by PKR’s S Manikavasagam.

However, the source claimed that the MIC leadership would also drop Murukasvary for the coming polls.

“Palanivel has decided to close the door to women candidates since the next general election will be toughest in the history of MIC,” he told FMT.

He said the president only wanted winnable candidates and the latter felt that those from the women’s wing would not make the cut.

The source also pointed out that the women’s wing had not performed up to expectations since the 2008 general election.

“Just look at the Wanita office in the party headquarters… it has remained locked for the last four to five months,” he added.

The source also said speculation was rife that Wanita MIC might boycott the polls as a result of the president’s decision.

“But I believe it will not happen since the women’s wing depends on the party’s top leadership for funds,” he added.

DAP Tolak Konsep Negara ISLAM?

Ambiga is to leave BERSIH!

Bersih co-chaiperson S Ambiga said that she would step down from the electoral reforms movement after the next general election.

In an interview with Bloomberg today, Ambiga said that she intended to pay more attention to her firm which specialises in commercial, intellectual property and industrial law.

Ambiga, a former Bar Council president, shot to fame after leading two Bersih rallies in 2010 and in April this year, calling for reforms to the Malaysian electoral system.

Although she received support from Pakatan Rakyat and other NGOs, the government had poured scorn over her attempts, claiming that she was a “pawn” of the opposition.

Sri Gading MP Mohamad Aziz even called for her hanging during a parliamentary session, but withdrew his remarks after receiving brickbats from his own colleagues in the ruling coalition.

In the interview, Ambiga said that she has some unfinished business from her previous campaign on women’s rights, which was not well received by the government.

“The courts had abdicated their responsibility over a lot of family law issues in situations involving both the syariah and civil courts,” she said.

Ambiga was referring to cases where husbands converted to Islam and unilaterally converted their children too, creating a lot of confusion in families and leaving their wives in the doldrums.

“In 2008, the government had proposed legislation requiring individuals wishing to convert to first inform family members and address custody issues, but the process was stalled at the Council of Rulers, who are responsible for Islamic affairs,” said Ambiga.

On growing calls for reforms, she said that the government could ill-afford to ignore the masses and one way to live by the people’s aspiration is by making the electoral system free and fair.

“If enough people want change, there’s very little anyone can do to stop it,” she said. “Malaysians are generally peace-loving – we are nowhere near what was happening in the Middle East, Tunisia and Egypt.

“But we are at the right point in time for positive change, and if we are going to bring change, we only want to do it by clean and fair elections,” said Ambiga.

400 Houses for 400 Families in Carey Islands.

MIC President Datuk Seri G. Palanivel said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak had informed him that Sime Darby has agreed to set aside 40 acres (16.18 hectare) on Pulau Carey, Selangor to build 400 houses for residents there, most of whom are Indians.

In a statement here today, Palanivel, who is Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, said Najib had told him the houses would be sold at cost price while the housing area would also comprise a tadika, a temple and complete with other infrastructure.

“This was to resolve the long standing problem of the people there,” he said.

Palanivel said the Prime Minister had requested him to coordinate with the Chief Executive Officer of Sime Darby Datuk Bakke Salleh to work that out.

“But Sime Darby brought out another proposal that is to build houses at a different locality in Kampong Sedu near Banting. The locality has good infrastructure and connectivity.

“But the Carey islanders only wanted to stay on Carey Island because they had stayed there for most of their life,” said Palanivel.

Palanivel said they would stick to the original decision of the Prime Minister to build houses on Carey Island for the 400 families at cost price.

The Selangor Mentri Besar had acquired the bus, which comes with a retractable platform and public address system, to hold ceramahs in various locations in the state and country.

The 19-seater bus also comes equipped with two massage chairs, two LCD televisions and a pantry complete with a fridge and microwave oven.

Khalid said he had personally forked the bill for the bus. He had rented the bus for six months, with an option to purchase after that.

Harga Rokok: RM7.00 mulai 1 September 2012!

Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) : A Property Developers Nightmare

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak recently launched projects with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM 26 billion is to be developed by government-owned development company, 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

Land area of 70 acres located on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur and is bordered by Jalan Tun Razak has been identified for the construction of 26 skyscrapers and are sure to increase the density of population and traffic congestion in the area.

Formerly known as Kuala Lumpur International Financial District (KLIFD) and converted to TRX for contributions and continue the legacy of the second prime minister and Najib's father Tun Abdul Razak Hussein.

The private real estate developers have strong reason to worry as the government offers various incentives to attract investors and tenants (tenant) to the area.

According to data provided by CB Richard Ellis (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the supply of office space in the Klang Valley today to increase by five to seven million square feet annually.

Since the year 2011, rental rates in Kuala Lumpur City Centre Round about RM7 and RM8 per sq ft and this (tenant market) profitable for the owners tenants is difficult to demand increase in rental rates.

Nurul Izzah: We will use our Scholar Troops!

PKR leaders will start calling on university campuses next month in a bid to recruit more students into the opposition, setting the stage for a stiff contest with Barisan Nasional (BN) for the youth vote in the coming polls.

The party is making full use of the government’s recent decision to lift the ban on student participation in politics through amendments in the University and University Colleges Act 1971.

“PKR will be visiting universities in September to initiate talks pertaining to their rights to do practise politics,” PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar said during the launch of Kelab Mahasiswa Keadilan at the party’s headquarters here.

“Our target is to go to all universities, starting with those in the Klang Valley such as Universiti Malaya (UM).”

She added that this was in response to Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah’s recent statement that the UUCA amendments would render the Act more meaningful in terms of permitting student involvement in politics.

“I am holding on to his (Saifuddin)’s promise that students (aged) 21 years and older are now allowed to be involved in politics after Section 15 of the Act was amended.

“PKR will enter universities. It is the best time to approach students to give them a chance to voice out their opinions,” she said.

Nurul Izzah added that PKR will fight BN if it continues to use students as a tool to win elections, alleging that BN has often meddled in campus polls.

“BN’s interference in campus elections… is a political trick to ensure that students remain fearful of BN.

“[Datuk Seri Najib Razak] is more blatant for using students for his own political agenda,” she added.

The Lembah Pantai MP said that PR previously had received many objections about its attempt to engage students.

“Before this, only BN could enter the campuses,” she said.

“PKR represents the youth. If we fail to be relevant on youth-related issues, there is no reason for us to remain,” she added.

Unisel : Student Demonstration Soon...!

A group of Unisel students -  Aksi Mahasiswa Peduli (AKSI) wants Jana Niaga Sdn Bhd (JNSB) who manages the hostel Unisel to prioritize the welfare of students.

JNSB failure to safeguard the welfare of students is likely to result in the student demonstrations.

"If the JNSB totally ignored and not sympathize with us as students, we will not hesitate to use other channels to gather as many other students in the sense of a demonstration to protest against the JNSB.

"We also urge Unisel amicably resolve this problem and do not want the Selangor Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim leave this issue just like that and he should be responsible in his capacity as Chief Minister of Selangor and do not just sit without doing any action," said Secretaryof AKSI, Ekhsan Bukharee Badarul Hisham in a statement today.

AKSI urged to issue CF and does not taken advantage by any political alliances to benefit of their cronies.

They also urged the parties and  related parties resolve this matter immediately.

"At our level - Unisel particularly, student does not want this issue politicized on the basis of political interests, especially the importance of their cronies.

"AKSI wants both Unisel and JNSB resolve these issues through discussion because the agreement was signed during the time of the former Chief Minister Dr Mohd Khir Toyo requires Unisel pay JNSB hostel eventhough not used during the semester holidays," said Ekhsan again.

Ekhsan said this when commenting on the issue of failure to pay rent Unisel JNSB boarding.

PAS: We Will Walk Alone!

PAS, can be considered the only ‘sane’ party in the opposition alliance of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) should reconsider its position given that its objective to create an Islamic state will be very far fetch.

DAP, the chauvinistic party that champion the Chinese cause and now evidently the Christian cause, according to some blogs, will fight to the death to stop PAS from achieving its objective.

PAS, the longest Islamic party but Malay-based has always open its doors to non-Muslims, purported to educate the non-Muslims on Islam and its teaching but everyone knows it is to reach out to the non-Muslims for votes.

The party has never had so much support from the non-Muslims all along and they had never had so good response until they tie up with DAP and PKR.

Both parties gave PAS the boost in votes but the reality is both parties will not allow PAS to set up a theology state it has been struggling and championing since its inception in 1955.

DAP openly opposes the Islamic state and Hudud laws while PKR comprises liberal Malays who would rather live in an open liberal laws that everyone knows the reasons why.

In this situation, it is better for PAS to go alone as only then the party truly knows its real support, its true real followers who truly supports its Islamic cause, not voters who voted just because the party is tied up in an alliance with DAP and PKR.

Given the opposition the party has from within its own alliance, it is better for PAS to go alone so that voters can get its clear vision rather than now where the party is playing with sentiments rather than real objectives.

Walking on a tightrope for fear of losing support from those supporting DAP and PKR, the party has been playing with words, pacifying supporters as well as DAP and PKR on the subject matter, the very cause the party was formed.

But given the situation now where DAP and PKR have stated their intentions and oppositions as clear as a crystal, PAS should just go on its own way since it prides having ‘ex-Umno leaders’ and ex-top civil servants in its fold.

If it goes its own way, the party can also eliminate the leaders who are being manipulated or in reality followers of PKR de facto chief Anwar Ibrahim, who has been undermining the party for his own benefit.

Anwar attained PhD. in Empty Promises?

Grand promises are easy for PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to make because the opposition need not have to fulfil them to the people, said Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Maximus Ongkili.

The Kota Marudu member of parliament said it is plain to see that Anwar is just a “master promise maker”.

Dr Ongkili described Anwar’s promises made at a ceramah in Kota Marudu to give RM650 to each old folk and RM100 to every child born until they reach the age of 18 as “just another promise they can make under the sun because they don’t have to fulfil them”.

“I urge Anwar to stop making wild promises. If the opposition in Pakatan Rakyat are sincere, then implement these promises now in the Pakatan-controlled states,” Dr Ongkili said.

Speaking at the launch of Gerakan Biru Kota Marudu at the Kota Marudu

Community Hall, he said his Kota Marudu parliamentary constituency which include the Tandek and Matunggong state seats, have developed by leaps and bounds under Barisan Nasional.

This is undeniable, he said, and the development can clearly be seen notably in terms of infrastructure and amenities such as roads, water supply, housing as well as education.

“We admit more needs to be done, thus it is important for the three seats in Kota Marudu to remain in Barisan Nasional in order to benefit from the transformation programmes initiated by our Prime Minister,” he said at the event that was held to ensure Kota Marudu remained a stronghold of Barisan Nasional.

“The opposition cannot improve on this development in Kota Marudu. What they can do is bring Kota Marudu backward if they are given these seats,” he told the people who thronged the hall.

At the event, Dr Ongkili also gave out RM100 each to 100 old folks, single mothers and the poor who received the Yayasan Kebajikan Negara aid in conjunction with Hari Raya.

Also, a total of 21 mosques in Matunggong and 25 mosques in Tandek

received RM1,000 each while two suraus in Matunggong and 25 suraus in

Tandek received M500 each from the MP’s touch points allocation

RM107mil to RM165mil! Selangor's Land -Overvalued!

Earlier today I had the opportunity to visit the overvalued Ulu Yam Hill-Slope land along with YB Dato’ Chua Tee Yong.

One thing for sure, from deals like this, one can only come to conclusion that there is a serious lacking of transparency and competency by the Pakatan Rakyat Selangor (PRSelangor)

I would like to share information with regards to the Ulu Yam Hill-Slope land issue and I’m sure that you would be able to make a reasonable conclusion. My appreciation to Y.B. Dato’ Chua Tee Yong for highlighting this issue and allowing me to share the following information;

1. In 2010, PRSelangor government accepted a 60% shares in a company called Ulu Yam & Country Club Sdn. Bhd. (Company) at RM4.2million. The remainder 40% is held by a subsidiary of KHSB.

2. This company has not commenced operation since incorporation and has liabilities of RM807,000 as at 31st January 2010.

3. The only asset of the company is a 199 acres of Ulu Yam hill-slope land. Thus the value of the shares of the company is dependent on the hill-slope land.

4. This is the third piece of hill-slope land accepted by PRSelangor state government from the Talam deal. These hill slope land are Class 3 & Class 4 slope that is above 25 degree and above 35 degree respectively.

(Note: Class 3 (C3) hill-slope development rules are strict and for Class 4 (C4), only development allowed is for national infrastructure project. In 2009, the PRSelangor Government had frozen all development plans on C3 and C4 land pending new guideline on hill-slope development.)

5. KHSB has rejected first proposal of PRSelangor government proposal for KHSB to acquire the 60% share at RM4.2 million on 3rd May 2010.

6. Subsequently, a second proposal by PRSelangor government to KHSB was made whereby KHSB has done a valuation on the hill-slope land on July 2011 by Sulaiman & Co. the 199 acres is only worth RM5.0 million.

7. Thus at 60% of the shares in the company whose asset is only hill-slope land would be worth RM3 million. Compared to 2010, when PRSelangor accepted a 60% shares at RM4.2 million, there is a depreciation/drop in value of RM1.2 million.

8. There is an apparent overvaluation of RM2.1 million for the 60% shares on the Company.

9. PRSelangor government should have consulted KHSB before accepting the 60% shares as KHSB owns 40% of the shares.

10. Did the PRSelangor State Government conduct an independent valuation carried out by the state valuer?

11. Was there an independent financial and/or legal due diligence being carried out and was the liabilities of RM807,000 taken into account?

12. From this deal we can see there is lack of transparency and competency by PRSelangor government, for accepting 60% overvalued shares of a company where the only asset is class 3 and 4 hill-slope land and having liabilities of RM807,000.

In summary, what YB Dato’ Chua Tee Yong have exposed in the Talam deal by PRSelangor government is as follows;

a) Overvalued land that is underwater or forest & ecology zone;

b) Overvalued land that is ex-mining pond;

c) Overvalued office units and retail lot that are vacant;

d) Overvalued Hill-slope land Class 3 & 4, and now

e) Overvalued shares of a company.

Total apparent overvaluation;

a) Bestari Jaya (RM42million to RM100million);

b) Danau Putra (RM57million);

c) Menara Pandan Office lots (RM1.9million);

d) Hill-slope Ulu Yam land (RM5.3million), and

e) 60% shares (RM1.2million)

TOTAL: RM107 million to RM165 million.

Lim Guan Eng and The Pathetic Penang Indians!

Until today, he said the Pakatan government had not built a single affordable house to benefit the lower income people, who were pre-dominantly Indians and Malays.

He pointed out that the Auditor-General’s Report had stated that the state government had failed to build a single unit of low-cost housing since 2008.

As a result, Mohan said, the lower-income Penangites were facing acute shortage of affordable houses.

He said housing projects carried out in Penang for the past four years were only posh houses for the rich.

He said the state government had lacked commitment to resolve Indian housing issues in Mak Mandin, Batu Kawan and Bagan Dalam’s Hujung Batu.

He also said the Lim administration had yet to allot land on its own for Tamil schools, except transferring land titles for plots already alienated by the previous Barisan Nasional state government.

Even for Hindu temples, he said, the state government had given land mainly for temples managed by cronies of a certain politician.

"Only 1.75 mil out of 72 mil given to Tamil Schools in Penang!"

The annual RM1.75 million state funds allocated for Tamil schools, he said, was too little compared with over RM40 million given to Malay schools and nearly RM30 million for Chinese schools.

Divided by 28 schools in Penang, he said each school got only RM62,500.

If based on the estimated 150,000 Indians living in Penang, he said each Indian was allotted nearly RM12 each.

“Lim’s policies have been pro-developer and populist schemes to fish votes. His policies have not been people-orientated and good governance. Indians rightly feel betrayed by the state government,”

From Israel trough America...to BERSIH?

2009 : Ambiga with Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton with Shimon Peres (Israel's President)

There is substance to allegations that Israel rules the world by proxy, says former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

“I wonder whether people notice it or not, but presidential candidates of the United States of America, the sole superpower, all have to seek approval from Israel.

“Mitt Romney, the Republican candidate for President, has just made the pilgrimage. And he has made a public pledge that he will be even tougher against the Palestinians and Iran than Obama (US President Barack Obama),” he said in his latest entry in his blog at chedet.cc today.

Mahathir believes Obama will soon make this pilgrimage and make more promises to fight for Israel.

“This situation is odd and Malaysians would not think this approach is proper during the national general election.

“What if Malaysian candidates for elections have to visit a neighbouring country to pledge our friendship or support for it?

“Our elections are about gaining the support of Malaysians for the party that will form the government. What other countries think of our government’s policies is irrelevant,” he said.

Apparently, Mahathir said, it was not the case with America, whereby all candidates must literally pledge loyalty to Israel or risk losing the elections.

“It is not about what is good for the Unites States which counts.

“One can imagine the policies that will be adopted by whichever government or president wins, and it is clear the United States cannot ignore Israel’s views when reacting to anything of concern to Israel.

“Looks like the tail is wagging the dog,” he said.

Apa itu Seksyen 114-A?

Rakyat Diperbodohkan: Cakap Kosong & Penipuan Anwar kian parah?

Lee Chong Wei, Barison Nasional's GE-13 Candidate?

Sports has always been the key in unity for every country in the world. It is a fact that cannot be denied by anyone and Nelson Mandela had proven it.

The same thing goes to Malaysia where each time Malaysia is involved in just about any sports game, all Malaysians from various races, religion and political understandings would unite and support our athletes.

It is true that there are a few among us who are not patriotic enough where we even mock our own athletes such as ADUN DAP, Manoharan Malayalam and a few other Pakatan Rakyat leaders, but their number is too small to break the majority of Malaysians when it comes to sports.

That is why Dato’ Lee Chong Wei’s silver victory during the Olympic could actually lead to people saying that he might be taken as a candidate for the next election. Especially with positive comments from his supporters who admitted that they would vote for him if he ever becomes a candidate. Everyone agreed that Chong Wei had united every single Malaysian here.

According to rumors, some are trying to name him as a candidate in Penang. If this is true, this might be a positive thing to balance out the power which is held by DAP who likes to spread racism among rakyat.

With Manoharan mocking Chong Wei’s silver victory, he had proven that DAP has never shared the same aspiration as all rakyat in this country does.

Thus, considering that Chong Wei can be said as the symbol of unity for Malaysians, his candidacy for the election could help rakyat who had gone too far with the influence of DAP/PR to come back to reality.

His candidacy might be possible because previously, Soh Chin Aun, Malaysian Football Squad Captain was named as a candidate to compete in the 1986 election in Kota Melaka. However, he lost to Lim Guan Eng with majority more than 17,000 votes.

But, this do not mean that Dato’ Lee Chong Wei would also lose if he competes considering that rakyat really thirst for non-Malay leaders who cares for rakyat and could influence rakyat from various races to implement the 1Malaysia spirit as aspired by the Prime Minister.

If this factor is taken account, we do not have any doubts that our badminton hero would be part of the ‘sure win candidates’ for the coming GE.

However, this is just another rumor and if it is true, Malaysia would need to rethink about one small matter: Do we need Dato’ Lee Chong Wei to keep on winning games for us in the badminton world or we want him to be around rakyat and provide help to rakyat on behalf of BN?

What is certain, finding a world-class badminton hero is not as easy as finding election candidate!

For that, congratulations Dato’ Lee Chong Wei! Win or lose, Malaysia is always be behind you.

Waythamoorthy: "I'm Stateless"

Unexpectedly, Hindraf leader P Waythamoorthy has returned home safely without any hurdles after his self exiled stay in London for more than four years. There were expectations that the government may arrest and charge him for some offences.

Despite being one of the leaders of a key social movement among Indian Malaysians that led to the rise of Hindraf, its chairperson P Waythamoorthy has found himself akin to a stateless Malaysian.

Since arriving in Malaysia through Singapore, Waythamoorthy has been on a busy schedule with a hive of activities attending functions and temple prayers. The Tamil papers are running adverts listing out functions scheduled to be attended by him.

Surprisingly, there was not a single statement from Waythamoorthy’s brother Uthayakumar on the arrival of Waythamoorthy or his subsequent actions, which indicates that the brothers may have chosen different political paths and are not in tandem.

According to MKini Waythamoorthy said “When the police raided my office in 2007, I was not in the country…. They have my MyKad, birth certificate, school and degree certificates, Malaysian Bar certificate, banking details and a number of other files,” he said.

“Normally, if I lose my MyKad, the procedure would be to make a police report, But now it is the police who are holding it,” he said.

Waythamoorthy added that he had inquired about his MyKad and documents through a letter in 2008, but there was no response.

“I’m walking around without my identity card… I need my Bar certificate to resume my practice, I’m jobless now,” he said.

Cyberworld War: BN Troops are READY!

Barisan Nasional Youth (BN Youth) today launched the BN Youth Cyber Team (BNYCT) as a volunteer for the younger generation with the BN Youth in communication through social media or new media.

BN Youth chairman Khairy Jamaluddin said the establishment of this BNYCT to create a wave in which information from the BN can be delivered to general screening, especially for the younger generation with faster and more organized than what we have today.

"We accept the fact that today, most of the younger generation although still dependent on the mainstream media, but there is a trend that shows that they also obtain information from sources related to social media.

"We must ensure that the opinions and views of BN and BN Youth supporters as well as provide an easy channel for them to create a network or the ecosystem," he told reporters after launching the BN Youth Cyber Team Seri Endon Hall, PWTC, today.

Clearly, the BN Youth is not putting any target in the near future but I hope and believe more young people will join because it is different BNYCT cybertrooper, such as UMB for their work, especially with the opposition to war but BNYCT more views, opinions and information delivery without involved in cyber warfare.

"This is more for us to build a network to create waves that provide information and facts if the answer to any issue, without us fighting with the opposition, we give enough facts and information in response to issues raised opposition. This way we answer the questions raised opposition.

"If we can create these waves, I think in the general election to come, the information in cyberspace will not be monopolized, will not be dominated by the opposition as was the case in the year 2008 and the election results would better reflect the position of support true, in my more favorable to BN, "he said, who is also Umno Youth Chief Malaysia.

UNISEL Students On Dilemma..

About 1,000 students of Universiti Selangor (Unisel) who registered today are facing accommodation problems since the management of the residential college refused them accommodation at its hostel.

Unisel Student Representative Council (MPP) president Mohd Jeffri Abu Hassan said the council was not informed of the matter officially and were only informed verbally.

“The matter was not announced, what we know is that the hostels were not opened because the workers did not come to work as they have not been paid salary. Their head was also on leave since Friday without leaving any notice on the matter,” he told reporters, here, today.

He said students who could not enter the residential college comprised semester two to final year students.

“First year and new students had received their keys and can stay at their respective hostel because they had registered early, namely, a week ago when the office for hostel operations was still open,” he said.

He said, to tackle the problem, MPP with the cooperation of the Student Affairs Welfare Body, had provided temporary hostels to help affected students.

In a newspaper report, Selangor Barisan Nasional (BN) deputy chief Datuk Seri Noh Omar claimed Unisel owed Syarikat Jana Niaga Sdn Bhd (JNSB) RM15 million.

JNSB was responsible for developing and managing student accommodation on the university’s main campus in Bestari Jaya, Kuala Selangor.

The debt included arrears in payments involving maintenance cost at the main campus and the operations of the hostels in the university which belonged to the Selangor state government.

Accommodation problems aside, the students also had to shoulder financial burden when Unisel had allegedly made excess deductions from their National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) loans.

Baskin Robbins has clarified that its “free ice-cream for all Malaysians” pledge was not only limited to whether Chong Wei grabs the gold medal in badminton.

A Baskin Robbins’ spokesman said people had assumed that the freebie was being offered only if the national shuttler bagged the gold medal.

“The message sent out was that, if any Malaysian athlete were to return from the Olympics with a gold medal, then we (Baskin Robbins) will be giving out Baskin Robbins ice-cream to Malaysians nationwide,” said a company representative.

“The ice-cream will be distributed on August 8. Lee Chong Wei may not have brought back Malaysia’s first-ever Olympics gold medal but we still have high hopes for the remaining Malaysian athletes and this is just one way of showing our support,” she said.

“We don't accept your apology, Datuk Lee Chong Wei. Because you did bring Malaysians a golden moment,” Nando’s proclaimed on their Facebook page.

The Man-Go MANOHARAN & The Baskin Robbins Story

YB Manoharan, The Kota Alam Shah YB is well known for his so called 'beyond average-controversial-thinking'. He were always found presenting statement which is beyond the norm thinking towards issues in Malaysia. For example, he came out with statement that the National Flag should be changed during 2011's Hari Malaysia.

Recently, yesterday he did tarnished Datuk Lee Chong Wei for his failure to obtain gold medal in Badminton Singles Final -London Olympics. He accused Chong Wei played for money and rewards. Where logically, none of the human would played the Olympics final for Rewards or Money, because the value of an Olympic Gold Medal is Priceless.

Alot of  peoples, trough facebook and twitter accounts addressed  that his statement were racial and could trigger some racial reaction among public on this issue. While others regarded his(Manoharan) statement due to his great disappointment since he wouldn't be able to get free Ice cream from Baskin Robbins or even a probable Public Holiday.

I  personally think and feel that the rakyats including Manoharan should give priority for the nation's unity before reacting towards any issues arise. This could eventually create a better place for living in this country.

Anyway, No Free Baskin Robbins....

Lee Chong Wei: I'M SORRY MALAYSIA...

"I'm sorry". That the words of Lee Chong Wei after failing to earn gold in the men's singles badminton event at the Olympic Games in London, tonight.

He was speaking after it again failed in the hands of Lin Dan, who won gold in 2008 in Beijing.

Following the message, written by Twitter account at about 9:55 last night (Malaysian time), Chong Wei is the first choice of the 2012 Olympic Games, send a follow-up 15 minutes later with, among others, said:

"Thanks to all. I'm sorry. I can not collect the gold (this time). "

However, supporters and fans to reject the message is a reply while Chong Wei, who was also in tears after the game, should not apologize.

Some of them insisted, he has demonstrated an excellent game and should be regarded as 'players won gold.'

Personally, I admired his will power as a true athlete. He suffered from ankle injury, and almost couldn't participate in this Olympic. Yet, he recovered himself and fight all the way to finals where later beaten by a very slim chance.

As Malay says - 'HARIMAU MATI MENINGGALKAN NAMA, MANUSIA MATI MENINGGALKAN NAMA". I would highly respect him as one of the Malaysian Legend in sports. MALAYSIA BOLEH!
